The double-height BDDW space on the first floor of Blue Mountain School has been entirely designed and realised in collaboration with Tyler Hays. Originally a painter and sculptor, Hays is a self-proclaimed lifelong builder and engineer who founded the company in the late 90s to pursue a myriad of creative and design endeavours. The space includes a custom, hand-painted floor-to-ceiling ceramic wall, a bespoke bronze and porcelain cluster chandelier, diamond shaped floor tiles and site-specific fixtures to display an array of Bury Your Dead Down Wind (BDDW) and M.Crow garments, ceramics and hand-painted puzzle paintings, all handcrafted in Hay's Philadelphia studio. BDDW furniture is displayed throughout the building, made in their signature heirloom quality solid wood in a selection of domestic hardwoods. This is the first outpost outside of Hays' renown New York and Milan showrooms.
