The New Road Residence is a carefully refurbished Georgian townhouse operated by Blue Mountain School, located within the Myrdle Street Conservation Area in Whitechapel, London. Spanning over 2,850 square feet of open plan living areas with a private courtyard garden, the residence offers an exceptional quietude and is available for short or long term stays, providing accommodation for up to six guests.

Three bedrooms are generously distributed across the upper floors of the residence: a master bedroom with a king size bed and a spacious en suite bathroom and dressing room, complete with a free-standing copper bath and a couples shower; a twin bedroom with two single beds and a shared bathroom; and a double bedroom with a queen size bed and shared bathroom. 

Fine detailing and original features have been retained throughout, with the utmost attention given to comfort and detail across the four floors of the residence. Each bedroom is equipped with Once Milano bed linen and bespoke made Norvegr goose down pillows and duvets, while classic homewares can be found in the open plan kitchen and dining area from Labour & Wait, as well as French-made Crane cookware, Blackcreek Mercantile wooden tableware, ceramic crockery by Skye Corewijn, and Austrian crystal by J. & L. Lobmeyr. The kitchen is equipped with an original pantry stocked with local produce, along with a wine cellar carefully selected by Mãos. 

Furniture by Pierre Jeanneret, Hans Wegner, Faye Toogood and Max Lamb are thoughtfully combined with artworks curated by Stuart Shave/ Modern Art, together with a selection of recent and classical literature chosen by King’s college philosopher Clayton Littlejohn.

The house is rented out in its entirety with prices tiered according to season.
