1 of only 6 pieces of its kind, each hand made exclusively for Blue Mountain School.
Created from Small’s original 1940s reproduction trouser pattern from his extensive tailoring research, cut by hand using textured wool & linen 'Armageddon' plaid cloth woven for Small in Sarcedo, Vicenza by Luigi Parisotto,. Combined with pure cupro Bemberg-type linings woven by Tessitura Mauri in Como for maximum comfort and softness.
Features hand cut vintage recycled leather suspenders made by hand using special silk and cotton woven trim tapes, generous 2.5 cm seam allowances on major fitting seams to allow alteration to a full size larger, beautifully finished interior construction, remarkable artisan-made hand dyed red 'real horn and real corozo buttons created exclusively for Small by the legendary Fontana family of buttonmakers in Parma, Italy, and seven real hand-stitched buttonholes in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta thread, each one requiring at least 10-12 minutes to cut and sew.
Each piece is individually hand washed in Small's workrooms at Cavazere Venezia to achieve its unique patina, softness and texture.
