Isabelle Sicart

Isabelle Sicart is a Paris-based ceramic artist. She received her MA in Ceramics from the Graduate School of Applied Arts in Paris and joined the renowned glassmaking and design studio Lalique in 1991. Sicart designed her first ceramic collection in 1999 for the design firm Les Céramiques and soon after began to create one-off bodies of work in sandstone. She has designed collections for French furniture maker Les Migrateurs as well as designing lamps for French pottery maker Faïencerie de Lunéville. Since 2004 she has been producing ceramic objects and one-of-a-kind works that combine her interest in classic and surrealist shapes and forms.
