Men's Oversize Overcoat in La Columbina 'Alpago' wool

One of only eleven pieces of its kind, give of which were made especially for Blue Mountain School.

Designed with an all new large volume single-breasted silhouette, with peaked lapels and four buttons, the coat pattern was developed from extensive tailoring research and cut from chemical-free wool yarns sourced from Alpagota sheep in Belluno, Italy. 

The yarns were handwoven into a reproduction of a 13th century twill, first developed by Franciscan monks, on the 18th century wooden handlooms of Tessitura La Columbina in Badoere di Morgano. Each coat is lined with luxury viscosa jacquard, created by Ezio Ghiringhelli in Varese.

Hand dyed in Cavarzere, using a ten hour process, each piece has a unique colour, patina, shaping, and hardy feel.
