Geoffrey B. Small
Geoffrey B. Small founded his label in Boston in 1979 and has since relocated and established his studio in Cavarzere, Venice where he has been based for over 30 years, working exclusively with local fabric mills and artisans using strictly traditional handmade production techniques. Drawing from an extensive archive of historical garments and tailoring research, Small is dedicated to the art of designing and making clothes by hand. He is known for his development of special fabric treatments and aging processes, with a focus on keeping the label's carbon footprint and energy waste to an absolute minimum. All garments are handcrafted and specially dyed by hand in Small's workrooms to create one-of-a-kind pieces with impeccable attention to detail.
Geoffrey B. Small's work is available exclusively in London at Hostem Archive.
